Mark Watson is a co-founder of DM Music Group. Mr. Watson has been involved in the music industry for over thirty years. He is an award winning songwriter, Billboard charting record producer and engineer, a long-time member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and a frequent panelist at the Southeastern Entertainment Law Conference. For the past 17 years, Mark has been the president of the independent record label and music publishing firm, DM Records, Inc. The DM catalog consists of over 5,000 masters and publishing rights including one of the biggest independent singles in the history of pop music, “Whoomp! (There It Is)”. Mark earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration- Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida.

David Watson is a co-founder of DM Music Group. After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Commercial Music Business at Georgia State University, Mr. Watson successfully marketed and promoted his music production company, which soon after was signed to Atlantic Records in New York. Mr. David Watson later co-founded the independent record company, DM Records. He has been involved in radio promotions, sales and financial planning and accounting aspects for DM for the past seventeen years. He has also been the executive producer on over three-hundred album projects including the Grammy nominated Lynn Anderson Album. He has an extensive knowledge of licensing matters and copyright law. David has successfully negotiated and administered numerous major licensing deals with diverse companies such as; Disney, New Line Cinema, Cingular Wireless, Hallmark Cards, IGT Slot Machines, ABC, IHOP, Toy State, Hershey, Universal Pictures, EA Sports, DreamWorks, and numerous others.
